Wide receiver Reggie Wayne requested and was granted his release from the New England Patriots on Saturday.
Wayne's career has been on the decline recently, and his 0.53 Reception Net Expected Points per target last year ranked only 71st among the 87 wideouts to see at least 50 targets, and was the third-lowest among Colts pass catchers. There are plenty of teams out there hurting for wide receiver depth though, and we can expect him to find another landing spot.
