Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Carlos Henderson is day to day following surgery to repair a torn left thumb ligament.
A third-round pick in the 2017 draft, Henderson has been the favorite to start the season as the Broncos' third receiver. While the team is calling him day-to-day, there is no expectation for the rookie to play in the preseason, as of right now. Bennie Fowler will likely start the season as the number three wideout with Henderson overtaking him at some point.
Henderson caught 82 passes for 1,53 yards, and 19 TDs last season for the Lousiana Tech Bulldogs, before being selected with the 82nd overall pick.
