Falcons focused on getting Julio Jones more red zone touches
The Atlanta Falcons are putting an emphasis on getting Julio Jones the ball more in the red zone, according to Kelsey Conway.
Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian had previously stated that he would make this a goal of his, and coach Dan Quinn added that he's been a real factor in camp thus far. He should continue to see more looks and might get more scores as a result.
Jones racked up 6 touchdowns with just 9 red zone targets in 2016, but our models project him for 10.8 scores on 93 catches and 151 targets this season. With those numbers, he's entrenched as our WR3.
