Dolphins' Jay Ajayi remains in concussion protocol
Updating a previous item, Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi (concussion) has yet to receive medical clearance and is still in the concussion protocol.
It looks like Ajayi is still awaiting clearance from an independent neurologist, which would be the final hurdle before being activated. Ajayi was at Dolphins' practice Monday and coach Adam Gase said the back was cleared, however, that doesn't seem to be the case now. We'll keep updating the situation as the news unfolds.
Our models project Ajayi as fantasy's RB8, with 1,131 rushing yards and 8.98 touchdowns on 246 carries, as well as 45 receptions for 318 yards and 0.56 receiving touchdowns.
