Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill (knee, IR) will be ready for start of 2018
Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee, IR) will "absolutely" be ready for the start of next season, head coach Adam Gase said.
Tannehill made the decision to undergo season-ending surgery on Friday after suffering a partial ACL tear at the onset of training camp. "He's got a good plan mapped out," said Gase. "He's done a good job of communicating with our training staff, our doctors. They're all kind of on the same page." With Jay Cutler under center, Miami will likely feature a run-heavy scheme with running back Jay Ajayi as the focal point.
Our models project Cutler for 3,371 passing yards, 21.31 touchdowns, and 13.69 interceptions on 516 attempts this year. That is good for the 26th-best projection among quarterbacks for fantasy purposes.
