Dwayne Allen more comfortable in Patriots' offense

New England Patriots tight end Dwayne Allen "seems more comfortable" with the offense than he did during OTAs, according to ESPN reporter Mike Reiss.

What It Means:

This comes after Allen admitted to a "horrible" stint during OTAs. Allen wasn't happy with his conditioning this spring and opted to stay behind in Foxboro over the summer so he'd have a leg up for the start of training camp. Allen looks to be in better shape now. With so many mouths to feed in New England, Allen won't carry much fantasy appeal playing behind Rob Gronkowski.

Our models project Allen as the 31st-best tight end in fantasy this year, with 316 receiving yards and 2.84 touchdowns on 26 receptions.
