Jaguars' Dante Fowler Jr. struggling with mental mistakes

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler, Jr. is struggling with discipline during camp.

What It Means:

Fowler had to run a lap after slapping the ball out of quarterback Chad Henne's hand and was sent to the sidelines during a joint practice with the New England Patriots after committing a reckless face-mask penalty. "It goes back to discipline and I talked to Dante about it. Anything that anyone does to hurt the team." head coach Doug Marrone said. Fowler hurt the team plenty last season, racking up eight penalties. He also has had more than his fair share of issues off the field, twice being arrested and racking up 10 traffic tickets since December of 2015.

Fowler is part of a much-improved Jacksonville defense that should be an excellent streaming option in Week 1 against the Houston Texans. Our models project the Jaguars D/ST as the fifth-best option on the schedule with 10.91 fantasy points.
