Andrew Luck's (shoulder) Week 1 status remains in doubt for Colts

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck's (shoulder) Week 1 availability continues to cause concern,ESPN's Adam Schefter said while appearing on Jeff Ratcliffe's Sirus XM Fantasy show.

What It Means:

This comes after CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora suggested last week that Luck may open the year on the reserve/PUP list, which would sideline him for the first six games. Schefter also hears doubts about Luck being "ready to open the season," but didn't mention anything about him opening the year on reserve/PUP. The early-season fantasy values of T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, Frank Gore, and Jack Doyle will all be impacted if Luck isn't healthy by Week 1.

Assuming he plays a full season, numberFire's models project Luck to complete 277.9 passes for 4,075.2 yards with 31.50 touchdown tosses and 14.2 interceptions while adding another 330.7 rushing yards and 3.00 scores on the ground. He currently stands as QB5 in our season-long fantasy rankings.
