Zach Ertz (groin) unsure of Week 1 status for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles' tight end Zach Ertz (groin surgery) remains unsure of his Week 1 status.
Ertz said he's feeling better every day, but that his status for the opener could come down to a game-time decision. Ertz was already going to have trouble weaning Chip Kelly off of blocker extraordinaire Brent Celek, but now Celek could establish a stranglehold on starting duties.
The Eagles ranked 12th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric last season. We have Ertz projected for 63 grabs, 711 yards and 4 scores.
