Green Bay Packers fourth-round rookie running back Jamaal Williams took some snaps with the starters on Thursday, according to ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky.
Williams "appears to be pushing Ty Montgomery," Demovsky states, noting that the rookie has been praised for his pass-protection ability, while the converted receiver is still on a learning curve. He's worth a late flier in fantasy drafts while Montgomery carries a decent amount of risk at his RB2 price tag.
numberFire's models project Williams to rush only 83.2 times for 324.0 yards and 2.89 touchdowns in his rookie season, with another 87.2 yards and 0.51 scores on 11.6 catches through the air.
