Jets' Matt Forte sidelined with hamstring issue
New York Jets running back Matt Forte has been sidelined with a hamstring issue.
Forte is missing his second consecutive day of training camp with a hamstring injury. While the club doesn't seem too concerned at the moment, Forte is on the wrong side of 30, and Bilal Powell gained some momentum with a strong finish to the 2016 season. Expect the duo to split time in New York this season.
numberFire's algorithms project over 200 carries for Forte while the 31-year-old racks up 778 rushing yards, 237 receiving yards, 4 TDs, and 127.6 fantasy points -- good for RB28 this season.
