Colts insist quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) will be activated for Week 1
Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard insisted that quarterback Andrew Luck will be activated from the team's active/PUP list prior to the start of the regular season.
According to The Herald Bulletin's George Bremer, Ballard's same statement he made a week ago stands, despite reports to the contrary. Even if Luck is not back to full health by Week 1, the Colts would want to avoid placing him on the PUP list in order for him to play the following weeks.
Assuming a full season, our models project Luck for 4,075 passing yards, 31.5 touchdown tosses and 3 more scores on the ground. We have him as QB5 in our most recent season-long rankings.
