Bengals' Giovani Bernard avoids PUP list
Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard avoided the team's active/PUP list to begin training camp.
What It Means:
As Bernard returns from an ACL tear suffered in Week 11 last season, he figures to play early on in the season given today's news. He will be forced to earn snaps though with the presence of both Jeremy Hill and Joe Mixon in the Cincinnati backfield.
numberFire's models project Bernard for 456 rushing yards, 248 receiving yards on 28 catches, and 4.1 total touchdowns in 2017. He is RB43 in our pre-season fantasy rankings.
