The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed kicker Garrett Hartley on injured reserve after a severe hamstring injury during the Steelers' third preseason game.
The Steelers traded for Josh Scobee earlier Monday as a replacement for Hartley. Hartley is the second Steelers kicker to be placed on injured reserve this preseason along with Shaun Suisham.
Hartley has a 81.7 percent career field-goal percentage over seven seasons. Our algorithms had projected him to finish the season as the 22nd-ranked fantasy kicker with 25 field goals and 32 extra points prior to the injury.
