Jeremy Hill

Jeremy Hill should still have role in Bengals' offense

The Cincinnati Bengals still expect running back Jeremy Hill to be a factor on offense this season, Geoff Hobson of the official team website reports.

What It Means:

We've literally heard nothing on Hill since the Bengals used a second-round pick on Joe Mixon in the NFL Draft. Still, head coach Marvin Lewis apparently had a "fiery defense" of Hill at one point this offseason. Hobson expects Hill to not only keep his roster spot but also be a factor near the goal line at the very least. Many are handing the job to Mixon, but this is a situation that could easily be a committee approach.

Our models project Hill for 527 rushing yards and 3.46 touchdowns on 125 attempts, adding 19 receptions for 144 yards and 0.55 scores. That's the third-highest fantasy projection among Bengals running backs, but still a top-50 running back overall.
