Ravens expected to use three-headed running back committee
The Baltimore Ravens will employ a "three-headed monster" at running back this year, Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com expects.
Mink considers Terrance West the favorite for early-down work with Danny Woodhead serving as the go-to back on passing downs. He also expects a "bigger role" for Kenneth Dixon, though obviously that won't happen until he returns from his four-game suspension. Baltimore has led the league in passing attempts each of the last two seasons and should come out throwing again in 2017.
Our algorithms project West for 534 rushing yards and 3.78 touchdowns on 139 carries, with 214 receiving yards and 0.29 touchdowns on 27 catches. That would be the second-best fantasy score among Ravens' running backs.
