Bears cut veteran cornerback Tim Jennings
The Chicago Bears have released cornerback Tim Jennings.
This release will move Alan Ball into the starting cornerback spot opposite Kyle Fuller. Jennings was selected to the Pro Bowl during the 2012 and 2013 season. He will garner high interest from other teams in need of a cornerback.
The Bears ranked 27th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points metric last season. Jennings led the NFL with nine interceptions during the 2012 season.
