Kirk Cousins leads Redskins to preseason win
Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins was 20-of-27 for 190 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception in Saturday's preseason win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Cousins looked tentative to start the game throwing an interception on their first drive and fumbling the snap on the first play of the Redskins' second drive. Cousins is expected to start in the season opener against the Dolphins.
The Redskins ranked 25th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric last season. Cousins ranked 17th out of 37 quarterbacks with at least 200 pass attempts with a 0.09 Passing NEP per target last season. He is currently viewed as a non-impact fantasy player.
