Bears' Mitchell Trubisky does not plan to hold out
Chicago Bears first-round rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has no plans to hold out.
Trubisky is the Bears' only unsigned draft pick. We've seen rookies hold out before, but Trubisky has made clear he plans to report to training camp on time. Trubisky is likely to begin his career as Mike Glennon's backup, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him make starts as a rookie.
In 219 drop backs in 2014, Glennon earned 0.00 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back. The average Passing NEP per drop back that season was 0.10. As a team last season, Chicago's -0.01 Adjusted Offensive Passing NEP was 21st in the NFL.
