Panthers' Thomas Davis hoping for contract extension
Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis is hoping to land a contract extension before the open of training camp.
At 34 years old, Davis shouldn't warrant a giant figure, but his in a contract year and could help to solidify the Panthers' linebacking core in 2017.
In the 2016-17 season, Davis tallied 73 tackles, 3 sacks and 3 interceptions in 16 games. We project him for 112 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 interception this coming season.
