Patriots sign David Harris to two-year deal
The New England Patriots and free agent linebacker David Harris have agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Harris was released by the New York Jets on June 6th. In the company of a solid linebacking core, Harris will have to compete for playing time in New England.
In 10 seasons in the league, Harris has tallied 708 tackles, 35 sacks and 10 forced fumbles across 147 starts and 154 career games.
