Redskins lose linebacker Junior Galette to torn Achilles'
Washington Redskins outside linebacker Junior Galette will miss the entire season with a torn Achilles'. It was reported earlier that he suffered a serious Achilles' injury at Wednesday's practice, and this was the fear.
What It Means:
Galette was signed this offseason after being released by the Saints for off-field issues. He was slated to be the Redskins starting outside linebacker opposite Ryan Kerrigan.
The Redskins ranked dead last in the NFL in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points metric last season. Galette has posted double-digit sacks during each of his past two seasons in New Orleans.
