Vikings' Latavius Murray (ankle) will be ready for training camp
Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray (ankle surgery) will be ready around the start of camp, head coach Mike Zimmer said.
Murray is expected to resume running unassisted soon, but it does not sound like anyone expects him to be ready for the start of camp. Murray himself said his "goal is just to try to be available during training camp at some point." Murray was never a good bet to beat out second-round rookie Dalvin Cook, but he will have no chance if he misses a large chunk of training camp.
Our models project Murray for 748 rushing yards and 4.38 touchdowns on 173 carries, with 158 receiving yards and 0.54 touchdowns on 24 catches.
