Robert Turbin

Colts' Robert Turbin could see bigger role in 2017

Indianapolis Colts running back Robert Turbin is in line for an expanded role this season, according to The Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer.

What It Means:

Right now, it looks like Turbin will edge out rookie Marlon Mack for backup duties behind starter Frank Gore. He's particularly impressed offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski this spring.

At this time, we project Turbin for just 180.8 rush yards and 1.5 touchdowns in 2017-18, but that could change given the latest news out of Indy.
