Broncos release kicker Connor Barth
The Denver Broncos have released kicker Connor Barth.
Barth was cut as a result of Evan Mathis' signing Tuesday. This release means Brandon McManus will be the Broncos' starting kicker to enter the season.
McManus should receive plenty of kicking opportunities as the Broncos ranked second in our schedule-adjusted Net Expected Points metric last season. Barth was 15-for-16 on field goals last season with the Broncos after being signed in November. McManus struggled last season, going 9-for-13 on field goals. Pick up McManus if you had drafted Barth in fantasy.
