Orleans Darkwa working with Giants' first-team offense
New York Giants running back Orleans Darkwa got "extensive" work with the first-team offense on the first day of minicamp.
Sophomore Paul Perkins has been reported to be the front-runner for lead-back duties, but roles are up for grabs in the Giants' backfield. Head coach Ben McAdoo has seemed to have an affinity for Darkwa despite fringy talent, so this could be a muddy situation in 2017.
Darkwa earned just -0.02 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt on 30 carries in 2016.
