Michael Vick to meet with Steelers
Free agent quarterback Michael Vick will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
What It Means:
Vick's visit comes on the tails of news that back-up Bruce Gradkowski has a dislocated finger and will have surgery. Vick most recently played with the New York Jets last season.
The 2014 season was one to forget for Vick. He had the worst Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play in the league among quarterbacks who recorded at least 100 dropbacks. Over 140 dropbacks, Vick lost the Jets 31.83 points relative to expectation. For comparison, teammate Geno Smith had a Passing NEP of 5.25.
