Thomas Rawls looking motivated and active at Seahawks' OTAs

Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls is "flying around the field" at OTAs, The Tacoma News Tribune's Gregg Bell reports.

What It Means:

Per Bell, Rawls looks "dutifully motivated" after battling injuries and flopping as the Seahawks' lead back in 2016. Seattle signed Eddie Lacy to add to sophomore C.J. Prosise, which has left Rawls a mere afterthought. But we've seen Lacy gain weight, get hurt, and fall out of favor in the past, while Prosise has a long injury history of his own. Rawls' 2016 was ruined by a 2015 broken ankle. If healthy, he could push for carries in this backfield.

Rawls produced the fifth-fewest Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt among the 42 running backs to total at least 100 carries in 2016. His Rushing Success Rate was the lowest among these players.
