49ers sign Elvis Dumervil to two-year deal
The San Francisco 49ers signed linebacker/defensive end Elvis Dumervil to a two-year contract.
Dumvervil was cut by the Ravens in March and after visiting the 49ers he signed without meeting with any other teams. He was hampered by a foot injury last season that held him to only eight games but if he can stay healthy the 33 year-old will likely see a large pass rushing role in the Niners defense.
Dumervil had 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 9 total tackles in eight games for the Ravens in 2016.
