The Buffalo Bills are in preliminary talks with free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
What It Means:
It's not an excellent fantasy destination, but it does make a lot of sense. The Bills are dealing with injuries to top receivers Sammy Watkins (foot) and rookie Zay Jones (knee). Maclin could add another compelling vertical element to the team. Maclin was plagued by injuries last year, catching just 44 passes for 536 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Maclin earned 0.57 Reception Net Expected Points per target last year -- ranking him 75th out of the 92 receivers to see at least 50 targets in 2016.
