Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has even more role upside following the release of wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
They obviously play different positions and different roles in the offense, but Maclin soaked up targets when he was on the field. In three of the four games Maclin was absent for in 2016, Kelce topped 100 yards receiving.
Kelce's 0.87 Reception Net Expected Points per target were sixth-most among the 43 tight ends with at least 30 targets this year.
