Tyreek Hill poised for big role in Chiefs' offense

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill will take over as the team's top wide receiver following Jeremy Maclin's release.

What It Means:

This move boosts Hill's weekly fantasy value immensely. A similar skillset to Maclin, Hill's usage was inconsistent at best when Maclin was on the field last season to the point that Hill did not catch a pass in two of the Chiefs' last four games. Now, however, he's locked in as a second fantasy receiver with top-tier upside.

Hill was the only wide receiver this season to rush at least 20 times and catch at least 60 passes. Among all players to see at least 20 carries on the year, his 0.70 Rushing Net Expected Points per play was first. He also hauled in 61-of-83 targets, finishing with the sixth-best catch rate out of the 60 receivers to see at least 80 targets.
