Titans committed to working in both DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry in 2017
The Tennessee Titans are looking to "find ways to use both" running backs DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry, offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie promised.
Murray handled over 60 percent of the carries with both backs healthy last season, but Henry's role grew down the stretch. Head coach Mike Mularkey has been adamant Murray remains the "workhorse," but Henry should push for 150 touches in the run-heavy offense.
Among the 42 running backs to carry the ball at least 100 times last season, Henry finished 13th in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry and Murray was two spots behind at 15th. As a team, the Titans were 14th in Adjusted Offensive Rushing NEP per play.
