Braxton Miller working with Wes Welker at Texans' OTAs

Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Miller said he is taking advantage of working with assistant wide receivers coach Wes Welker.

What It Means:

"It's a great opportunity for me to learn from one of the greatest slot players to play the game. Especially in this type of system," Miller said. Miller struggled along with the rest of the passing game last season before landing on injured reserve with a shoulder injury in December. The former quarterback was still transitioning to his NFL position, however, and working with Welker can only help. In an offense that figures to be run-heavy and tight end-dependent, Miller is still unlikely to have a fantasy-relevant role behind DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.

In limited usage and a low-value role, Miller turned in 0.22 Reception Net Expected Points per target in 2016 on 28 looks.
