LeSean McCoy excited about role in Bills' passing game

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is looking forward to his potential role in the passing game under new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.

What It Means:

"That’s something I’ve been a part of, but it’s been a while since I’ve actually got the ball a lot in the air," McCoy said. He's averaged 47.8 receptions per season for his career, and that includes a 78-catch campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles during his second year in the league. In the six seasons since, he's topped out at 55. However, with Buffalo thin at receiver, McCoy should be able to exceed the 50 catches and 356 receiving yards he saw in 2016. Either way, he's a firm RB1 in fantasy leagues.

McCoy averaged the second-most Rushing Net Expected Points per carry last season out of the 54 running backs with at least 80 carries.
