Colin Kaepernick to Seattle still not imminent
A deal between the Seattle Seahawks and free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick is still not imminent, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Kaepernick visited with Seattle last week. Reports indicate that the visit went very well, and while a signing may not be imminent, it certainly looks like the Seahawks are the most likely landing spot for the veteran signal-caller.
Kaepernick's Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back ranked 28th among the 39 quarterbacks to drop back 100 times last season. He also notched 0.45 Rushing NEP per carry, ranking fifth among the 18 quarterbacks with at least 25 carries on the year.
