Torrey Smith

Eagles' Torrey Smith projected for productive year

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith's over/under is 47 catches for 820 yards and six touchdowns, according to ESPN reporter Tim McManus.

What It Means:

With wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Jordan Matthews, and tight end Zach Ertz all likely to earn large target shares, there is not much left for Smith. Quarterback Carson Wentz is unlikely to attempt 600 passes again after head coach Doug Pederson expressed concern about the play calling ratio late last season. Smith adds an important element to the Eagles' passing attack, but he may not see enough usage to be a real fantasy factor.

Among the 95 receivers with at least 45 targets last season, Smith ranked fifth-worst in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
