Vikings have good support system in place for Michael Floyd
The Minnesota Vikings have a "good support system" in place for wide receiver Michael Floyd, head coach Mike Zimmer believes.
Floyd's career bottomed out last year after the Arizona Cardinals released him due to his second DUI arrest, and he had an extraordinarily lackluster two months with the New England Patriots. Still, said Zimmer, "he's from here. I think he has a good support system with [former Notre Dame teammates] Harrison Smith and Kyle Rudolph, partly." Floyd will try to carve a role for himself behind lead receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.
Floyd's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 38th among the 68 wide receivers to see 75 or more targets in 2016.
