Jamison Crowder should hit 1,000 receiving yards for Washington
JP Finlay of CSN Mid-Atlantic believes "this should be the year" Washington wide receiver Jamison Crowder gets to 1,000 receiving yards.
"He'll be inside when we go three receivers, for sure," head coach Jay Gruden said of Crowder. "When we go two receivers, we'll mix-and-match however we do it. We're going to try to keep him on the field as much as possible." Crowder finished with 67 catches, 847 yards and 7 touchdowns while playing 71 percent of the snaps in Washington's offense last season. If that moves up to 80 percent, Crowder should be able to hit the 1,000-yard mark fairly easily after the departures of Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson.
Crowder's 0.74 Reception Net Expected Points per target was 22nd among the 68 receivers to top 75 targets last year.
