Ravens have set Terrance West up for success this offseason

ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley believes "everything has fallen in place" for Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West this offseason.

What It Means:

Hensley points out three key things working in West's favor: the hiring of Greg Roman, the four-game suspension of Kenneth Dixon, and the lack of any additions to the backfield in free agency or the draft. Danny Woodhead was signed back in March, but he doesn't project to take work from West on early downs. Head coach John Harbaugh previously said that West was first on the depth chart, and everything seems to be in place for him to stay there.

West's -0.04 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt last season ranked 30th out of the 42 backs to see 100 or more carries. He set career highs in rushing yards (774), carries (193) and touchdowns (6).
