Vikings replenish receiving corps with Stacy Coley at pick 219
The Minnesota Vikings selected Miami wide receiver Stacy Coley with the 219th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Coley made 31 starts at The U, but his character and passion for the game were questioned by scouts, and he wasn’t a dominant collegiate. A middling athlete and 6'0" and 195 pounds, Coley looks like a low-floor prospect in the Markus Wheaton mold.
Coley's career 166 catches are second most in school history, and he racked up 2,128 yards (13.4 yards per reception) and 20 touchdowns on them with two return scores.
