Washington selected Georgia State wide receiver Robert Davis with the 209th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
The 6'3", 219 pound Davis earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors in each of his final two seasons. Davis landed at GSU after catching only 11 passes as a high school senior in an offense dominated by the running game. He crushed the Combine, running 4.44, and measuring in with lengthy 33-inch arms. Davis is a high-ceiling, small-school sleeper.
Davis graduated as Georgia State’s all-time leader in catches and yards, tallying a career 3,391 receiving yards on 222 catches (15.3 yards per reception) with 17 touchdowns. Only Brian Quick is in Davis's way for seeing meaningful production down the line in Washington.
