49ers acquire Kapri Bibbs from Broncos for a 2018 fourth-round pick
The San Francisco 49ers acquired running back Kapri Bibbs and a fifth-round pick from the Denver Broncos for a fourth-round pick in 2018.
As a rookie in 2016, Bibbs was the third back on the depth chart and was used sparingly as a change of pace option behind C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker in Denver. Now in San Francisco, he should be behind Carlos Hyde in the Niners' backfield and could be a viable handcuff for those who draft Hyde in 2017 fantasy drafts.
Out of 92 running backs with at least 25 rushing attempts last season, Bibbs ranked 30th in Net Expected Points per rush attempt at 0.04.
