C.J. has inconsistent touch, poor pocket presence, and molasses-slow mechanics which led to 58 sacks over his final two years; he'll do well to fall in as a career backup.

Beathard completed just 58.1 percent of his passes as a starter, averaging 7.0 yards per attempt (YPA) and tossing 40 touchdowns to 19 interceptions. He slumped to just a 56.5 percent completion rate and 6.4 YPA as a senior. He'll be hard-pressed to beat out Matt Barkley, whose 0.09 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back last year was 17th-worst among the 39 quarterback to drop back 100 times.
