Corey Davis taken by the Titans with the fifth pick in the draft
The Tennessee Titans selected Western Michigan Broncos wide receiver Corey Davis with the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
With their franchise quarterback in place in Marcus Mariota, the Titans needed to find him some weapons, and that's what they got in Davis. The 2016 MAC Offensive Player of the Year, Davis possesses big size (6'3") and great hands. He immediately jumps to the top of the Titans' thin depth chart at wide receiver, over Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe.
Davis caught 97 passes for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2016. He also is the NCAA's all-time leader in receiving yards with 5,278 over four seasons.
