Dallas Cowboys defensive end Charles Tapper (back) is on track for OTA's.
What It Means:
Tapper was cleared back in January after spending his rookie year on injured reserve. He’ll likely be moved slowly but should get in some work this offseason. With the major concerns surrounding Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory's availability at any given point, Tapper has potential to be a major part of the Cowboys’ defensive line rotation.
The Dallas defense improved significantly in 2016, ranking 17th in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play.
