Bills undecided on matching Patriots' offer to Mike Gillislee

The Buffalo Bills have until Monday to match the New England Patriots' two-year, $6.4 million offer to restricted free agent Mike Gillislee.

What It Means:

The Bills immediately bowed out when wide receiver Chris Hogan signed an offer sheet with New England last offseason, but that hasn't happened this time around. ESPN reporter Mike Reiss says his "gut feeling" is that Buffalo will match the offer, though he expects the Bills to "take this right up to the deadline." The Bills would net a fifth-round pick if Gillislee winds up in Foxboro.

Gillislee finished the 2016 season with 627 total yards and nine touchdowns while posting 0.30 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt -- ranking him first overall out of the 42 running backs with at least 100 carries.
