Dolphins' Julius Thomas feels better than ever

Miami Dolphins tight end Julius Thomas said this is "probably the best I've ever felt."

What It Means:

He was present for the start of offseason conditioning and claims to be 100 percent coming off an injury-plagued 2016 season. Thomas also said he feels "at home" playing under head coach Adam Gase, who coordinated the Denver Broncos' offense when Thomas was there from 2013-14. The 28-year-old reeled in four touchdowns with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, his fewest since his rookie year in 2011.

Thomas averaged 0.42 Net Expected Points per target last season, finishing 29th out of the 32 tight ends with at least 50 targets.
