Browns may move Corey Coleman to slot if Josh Gordon returns
Cleveland Browns second-year wide receiver Corey Coleman would man the slot if suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon is reinstated for 2017, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
If Gordon is back in tow, according to Rapoport, he and Kenny Britt would line up outside the hashmarks. That would push the 5-foot-11, 185-pound rising sophomore into slot duties. Regardless of if Coleman plays inside or outside, Gordon's potential return would severely cap his breakout potential.
Among the 74 receivers to see at least 70 targets last season, Coleman ranked in the bottom-10 in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
