Browns say Corey Coleman is the new number one

Cleveland Browns 2016 first-round wide receiver Corey Coleman is now seen as "the guy" as the Browns' number-one option following the departure of Terrelle Pryor, head coach Hue Jackson said.

What It Means:

"He's got to go do it now, because he’s now seen as the 'the guy,' so he needs to go play and play well," Jackson said. "We see the potential of what he can be and what he will be and he’s doing the work right now that it takes to get there." That potential was put on display in Week 2 -- the second game of Coleman's NFL career -- when he exploded for 104 yards and a pair of scores. It all went downhill from there, as Coleman broke his hand in practice only a few days later, sidelining him until Week 9. After that, Coleman failed to top 41 receiving yards for the rest of the year. Moving forward, all the tools are there for the 22-year-old wideout to emerge as a solid fantasy WR2 in his second season in the league. He's a recommended buy-low in Dynasty formats.

Among the 74 receivers to see at least 70 targets last season, Coleman ranked in the bottom-10 in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
